Shift optimization list page
On this page, you can manage actions related to shift Work period in WFM that has a definite length. optimization rules. Shift optimization rules can be created for all request types.
You can do the following:

Access the rule form to create a rule or edit an existing rule.

Change the rule from active to inactive for an organization.

Delete a rule.

Apply |
Indicates whether the shift optimization rule applies to an organization. When the checkbox is not selected, the rule is inactive. |
Name |
Name of the shift optimization rule. For example, Time_off_max_6_hours |
Request Type |
Identifies the request types to which the rule applies. Values include:

Optimize |
Indicates the type of shift events (working or non-working) that the system optimizes for the shift assignment:

From, To |
Indicates the range of the duration of the shift assignment to which the rule applies. For example, if From is 0:00 and To is 9:00, the rule applies if the shift assignment is a maximum of 9 hours long. |
Shift |
Shift template used for the placement of working and non-working shift events in the shift assignment. |
Owner Organization |
Organization to which the rule is assigned. Only users assigned to this organization can edit the rule. |
Apply to sub-orgs |
Indicates whether the rule applies to suborganizations and whether they can override the rule:
